The Annual General meeting was held in October and was attended by staff, volunteers and Service Users.

Chairs business

The Chair opened the meeting and welcomed everyone. This was followed by the formal business of the AGM.

Then followed a presentation to Jan Cirulis for 10 years service as a volunteer.

The Lloyds TSB Foundation has awarded Central Notts Mind a grant to extend a day at Kirkby Support Centre.

This will enable a third day for the service users to benefit from a range of activities and support.

The Kirkby Support Centre will open on Mondays, Tuesdays and now Fridays from 9.00am to 1.00 pm

The Volunteers and Service Users involved in the Market Stall have raised a total of £296.00 so far.

There will be further stalls on August 14th and September 11th.

The group have planned a celebration event at 'and why not' on the 25th September at 12.00 Lunchtime. Invited also is 'The Beacon Project' who will be presented with a donation from this fundraising.

Central Notts Mind would like to thank everyone that has supported the various fundraising activities over the last 2 months.

Bernard and Carl had upper parts of their bodies waxed and this raised £140.00

Mark Humpries did his sponsored silence and raised £50.00

Carl Norwood also completed a skydive and raised £104.00

Andy Mason and his team have completed the gruelling 1000 mile bike ride to Spain and have raised over £1200.00

Staff and Volunteers joined up to hold fundraising events at Mansfield Town Football Club and by having a stall at Mansfield Market. The events raised £477.00 and £57 respectively

Central Notts Mind received a cheque for £1400 from the group at Ravenhead Village Hall. The cheque presented by Mrs. Stevenson, Chair of the group to Girish Ravat, General manager and Florence Huthching, Fundraising coordinator
