Admission to the Scheme

Referral to the Scheme is usually made by professionals working in Health or Social Services. However, if it is not possible to go through such channels, a private referral can be made by telephoning the MIND office on Mansfield (01623) 658044.

On receipt of a referral, the Scheme Organiser will make a home visit to make an assessment of need and to discuss the best way to help the family or potential centre member. Help can be offered in a variety of ways including counselling, advice and an out of hours telephone link.
